Hi Leonie-
I will go read your post. That is truly awesome about your weight loss, on so many levels. Not just the outside (you do look incredible now) but I know it is about more than that. I imagine it was/is a real journey.

And the health aspect.. and thinking about our bodeis being temples and how we are to care for them. You really did it.

Lent is going ok... really how it always does for me. I think I will come up with some 'challenges' for myself and always fail at them. Then God (I assume..?) ends up throwing all sorts of other challenges in my path.

So at this point I am trying to embrace them and understand the deeper meaning and how to be present to myself/family/friends and Christ and see what he is trying to tell me.

Exercise/diet wise I had a rough week and am about to post on that.

How is your Lent?

I loved the blog, Leonie! You are always so inspiring!

I'm doing my "little all" to not make anyone as wretched as I sometimes feel as we approach Easter and delivery day (March 30). Not a day goes by that I don't miss the comfort of icecream, but I know that part of why I gave up desserts for Lent is that their place in my emotional life is as unhealthy as their place in my diet. I'm hoping the imposed Lenten control will last past the season so I can improve my relationship with food.

I hope you're feeling better, Leonie. I've been praying.

Rachel, you are getting close to delivery - I'll say prayers!

I am on rest because if blood clots right now ( no exercise yesterday, only upper body exercise today!). My tummy is still bad - can't see my dr today, maybe next week, after my resting!
