What I'm Eating

Breakfast
1/2 cinnamon raisin bagel
1 Tbsp regular cream cheese
1/2 milk
1 Tbsp sugar
2 cups of coffee

Lunch
banana
1 whole wheat pita
1/2 C hummus
20 cheese curls
La Croix water

Snack
1/2 small bag Skittles
water

Dinner
McDonald's cheeseburger Happy Meal with Coke
slice of cinnamon bread
water

Water intake: approx 60 oz
Fruit and veg count: 3 (I'm not very scientific about this. It's loosely based on WW servings.)

Exercise
approx 3hrs walking pushing a stroller (approx 50lbs resistance, LOL) at the zoo

Prayer
Breastplate of St. P
scattered Hail Mary's
Many "Thank God's"
Evening prayers and mass readings with Bill

Summary: I lost the 2 lbs, but I'm not doing well in the fruit and veggie or prayer categories. Patience and Perseverance!

Hi Rachel,

Great inspiration - real life food journals. :-)

Do you think you are eating enough, calorie speaking? Soemtimes, too little food interferes with our metabolism...

Hello all! I am having problems logging in (I am going on vacation until May 20th, so can't really participate much before that, but was hoping to introduce myself and motivate myself to be REALLY good during my 2 weeks in Florida!) What am I doing wrong? And I LOVE the food journal idea--it really makes my "crackers and 4 cups of tea" for breakfast look BAD. Which is exactly what it is! :-)

Leonie,
Good question about calories. I'll have to go back and check. I didn't count the WW points (which is the only way I know to track calories) and I'm in a funny weight maintenance while weaning calorie thing. I'm not compltely sure how much I need, although I assure you that today I ate much more that Sat.

Niamh,
I can't wait to see your posts! Leonie and Cindy are much more cybersavvy than I, but I can try to help. Let me email you... :)
