Something to Sleep On......

I have been thinking alot about a slower pace of life....it seems the idea of siesta is confirmed here in this article in the New York Times called, "Regular Midday Snooze Tied to a Healthier Heart."

But I'd never get anything done! lol!

And I'm trying to be nore active in every day life - the many steps things.

But I do put my feet up every now and then - like yesteday before taking the kids out to deliver their newspapers. I put my feet up on the sofa, had a hot drink and rested my body ( which was tired after a busy day and sore after a hard workout!). The 10 minutes did me good...

Hey, I saw a version of that article in my paper this morning, too and cheered! I love a good juicy nap! lol

I wonder if the connection to lack of heart disease is that people who are prone to taking naps are more lazy and don't get heart disease from stress? :0
